Another meyeri blooms

So and another Conofitum meyeri "ovigerum" opened the flower. It is third plant in my conofitum flowering list for this season.

  1. I have never grown Conophytum. I tend to stay away from the winter growing mesembs. Your plants look very nice. Thanks to letting us enjoy your conophytums.

  2. Thank you! These little plants are very strong and viable. I noticed one important thing that it needs to water very accurately in the hot summer period. I lost one plant head from another conophytum after unwise watering. I thought that more water is better and got a watered jelly instead of conophytum. Bottom line it was my most terrible loss.
    In the winter i hold conophytums in the cold place and try not to water it at all. Different authors writes that it needs watering but i afraid that watering without much light causes a rot. I will make a greenhouse and it gaves much light for the plants. So i will try a little watering during the winter season :)
